Privacy policy

Last updated 20 September 2026. Applies to TeamTrackr, including the Team Coach and Goalkeeper Coach apps.

Who this covers

TeamTrackr is software that football clubs and coaches use to manage rosters, training, matches and player development. This policy explains what personal information TeamTrackr, as the software provider ("we", "us"), collects and how it is handled.

Your club is separately responsible for its own obligations to its members under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy does not replace your club's own privacy policy, and we encourage every club that uses TeamTrackr to have one.

Fitness and injury information. If your club uses GPS load tracking, the workload ratio, injury and return-to-play records, wellness check-ins, or goalkeeper match reports, some of what it records is likely to be "health information" under the Privacy Act. That is treated with extra care, and we handle it as described below.

What we collect

Young people

Many players and keepers are under 18. A club creates a player or guardian login only for people it has permission to add, and it is the club's responsibility to hold any parent or guardian consent that requires. A player login sees only that player's own profile. A guardian login is read-only and sees only the child it is linked to. If you are a parent and want a child's information corrected or removed, ask the club first. You can also contact us.

How we use it

Only to provide the service a club has signed up for: showing rosters, syncing fixtures, working out statistics, and showing training-load and injury information to the coaches the club has given access to. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

The workload ratio and similar indicators are statistical guides built from the data a club records. They are not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a promise that anyone will or will not be injured. A coach's own judgement and qualified medical advice always come first.

Who can see it

Access is set by role inside a club. A coach usually sees only the teams they have been given, and a club admin sees the whole club. A club's data is never shown to another club. Our own access is limited to what is needed to run the service and fix problems.

Other companies involved

Wyscout PDF reports are read by TeamTrackr itself and are not sent to another company to be processed. We do not share personal information with anyone else.

Where it is kept, and for how long

Data is stored on servers in Sydney, Australia. While a club's subscription is active we keep its data. After a subscription ends we keep the data for 90 days so it can be exported or the plan resumed, and then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep something longer. A club can ask for an export, or for earlier deletion, at any time.

Security

Passwords are never stored as plain text: they are salted and hashed. Sign-in sessions are stored as one-way hashes, not raw tokens. All traffic to TeamTrackr is encrypted with HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, and we keep improving ours.

If something goes wrong

If we find a data breach likely to cause serious harm, we will tell the people affected and, where required, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and to have it corrected. A club admin can ask us to export or delete their club's data. Contact us using the details below. If you are not happy with our response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy we will email club admins before it takes effect and update the date at the top of this page.
